The church extends her thanks to the deacons and their helpers in cleaning the church grounds after the major flood last week.
For those not in the know, the church gets flooded several times a year, coincident with the rainy season. The floods usually rise to knee high at street level (or ankle-deep when standing in the church garage). Thankfully, we only get severe flooding, meaning the water covers the entire ground level of the church, once a year. Because of the annual threat of flooding in the area, all church equipment have been moved to the second floor.
